• Contact details you submit via enquiry, estimate or brief forms (name, email, phone, company, message).
• Project brief content and files you upload to help us quote your work.
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for security and analytics.
• Billing details processed by our payment providers — we never store card numbers.

• To reply to enquiries and prepare estimates (legitimate interest / pre-contract).
• To deliver services you have purchased (contract).
• To issue invoices and meet accounting duties (legal obligation).
• To improve our site and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

We use trusted processors: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, Stripe for card payments, and QuickFile for invoicing and estimates. Each operates under its own data protection terms. We never sell your data.

Enquiries and briefs are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up. Invoices and financial records are retained for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements. You can ask us to delete non-financial data at any time.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email hello@taponemarketing.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on encrypted infrastructure with role-based access controls. Access to production systems is limited to authorised staff.
